It also got the O2 sensor issue. Not sure how to fix that. Maybe a tune? I think somebody's already tried a different O2 sensor with a different range.
Is somebody said I think the two problems might be related. So I don't think I should modify that valve until I figure out what the problem is
On our last trip to CO I was able to blow and suck on the rollover valve and hear it move. We have been back out twice since then and still getting gas fumes.
Saw a post on a FB group that a dealer in CO is having issues with all of his Xpeditions. It appears that maybe the 02 sensor out of...
Jeeps ride like crap on the trails. Us in SxS's can go twice as fast
My Turbo R is so noisy I wear ear plugs. My previous XP Turbo was way quieter.
Ever rode in a Can-Am Defender? Quiet as my F150. If Can Am can do it so can Polaris
They have been making axles a long time for side by sides. And the axles get good reviews. If I was going to buy a drive shaft it would probably be theirs
Guess I am cheap but I find the stock seats just fine. No issues with a long day of riding in any Polaris SXS that I have had (other than the bench seat in the Ranger)
Mine had the clunk when I would crawl over rocks. Dealership couldn't figure it out. They put a sound recorder on the machine with mic in different locations and found the steering rack was bad. They replaced it in Feb and we have had three rides since then in Colorado and no clunk. It was bad...
I tried to blow in my tank with a compressor and rag wrapped around it. Thought I heard the ball move. Next trip into the mountains we got the gas fumes again. So I got a 3' piece of 5/16" hose and tried sucking and blowing on the hose. The ball moved a little. Took the hose off and squirted...
I had a speed sensor code when I had mine stuck in the mud. That was at about 200' elevation. It's now at our CO place. House is 8500'. We have been up to 13k elevation so far. Any time we are above about 10k we get an O2 out of range message. Machine still runs fine though.
My Turbo R is way louder than my old XP Turbo. I don't like it but am stuck with the noise.
I expected a 45k machine to be way quieter than my 10 yr old Ranger with cab but it wasn't. I spent lots of time and money making it tolerable.
Try driving one with out the larger weights. I doubt you...
I don't know if it's better or not. We've used it for years on the farm. I do carry slime in the side by sides because it comes in the smaller bottles where berryman's comes only in 1 gallon jug as far as I know. I can tell you that the tire shops hate both of them equally. 😁
I carry the Glue Tread kit, a sidewall slug, lots of plugs and two bottles of Slime. Also a Colby valve stem for replacing on the trail. A 12V air compressor of course.
I also carry a piece of rubber that I can put inside the tire if I have a really bad hole.
I have a spare but typically don't...
I have never blew a belt. I always run OEM. My Ranger has 5200 miles and is on the original belt. I remove the cover and blow it out on occasion.
My '16 XP Turbo had about 1500 miles and it started giving me a code. Changed the belt but that wasn't it.. Had a bad spark plug. kept the old belt...
Glad you found a group to ride with. We typically ride alone or with another couple. We have tried to join some of the larger groups but don't care for how they act or ride. I think too much alcohol has something to do with it!
Our stepdaughter and her BF like the mud parks. We tried that once...
The last time I had low fuel I did not get the fumes. Both times I was in Colorado. I was probably 2 to 3,000 ft higher in elevation the second time when I did get the fumes
Thanks. Several guys over on one of the FB groups say "the roll over valve check ball is stuck. You can unhook the vent at the tank and take a air hose and blow the ball back where supposed to be. Has happened to me and if it happens again ill just drill and install a better quality roll over...
Ours did it for the first time on our latest trip to Colorado. Had less than 1/4 tank of fuel. Had to put the windows up and turn the AC on to keep the fumes out. Let us know if you get yours fixed with the charcoal canister
I have bought two clutch kits from them and Michael always promptly answers any question that I have . For that reason alone I would buy the AA turbo kit
Took the Xpedition up a couple rocky trails in Colorado a couple weeks ago. We have been up these trails dozen's of times with the XP Turbo, the Turbo R, the General and now the XP5.
We tied a kayak on top and grabbed our fishing gear and headed out. On the first trail we were getting bounced...
I used regular pipe insulation. The way the pipes are installed it's hard to get insulation everywhere on them. I did the best I could. Also insulated the inner walls of the tunnel
We just made a couple trips up two very rocky and steep trails in Colorado. Had to ride the brakes quite a bit coming down both. Brakes are a little better than they were.. Machine had about 350 miles on it and the brakes sucked. Now they have 450
I have a Ranger XP900 (2015) with nearly 5k miles. It's been all over the farm, through ditches and creeks and the front glass has never cracked. Also put Super ATV a arms and a lift kit and took it on the Colorado rocks and still no cracks..
You either got a bad bunch of glasses or bad drivers...
I added insulation between the headliner and roof. Not sure if it helped or not but sure can't hurt. I used Siless sound deadening foam off of Amazon. Took it up in the mountains twice this week. Didn't feel any heat from the roof area but heat still gets into the cab from the dash area.
If the ratchet strap idea doesn't work I am going to try and stiffen mine up. Maybe take a piece of hardwood, paint it black and screw it to the underside of that lip
File is too large for me to upload. FB group link is;

I am afraid mine will end up breaking off on our long trips from TX to CO. I think I am going to put a ratchet strap on mine from front to back and see if that helps
You need to learn to work on your stuff yourself. The AA Cruiser clutch is around $500 depending upon the options. They charged you $800 labor to install it???
Jump the wires to the brake switch with a piece of wire. Leave it that way for awhile. If it starts every time it's bad. Very common problem with Polaris
On the set that I bought I don't think the threaded part was long enough. I did see a post somewhere that someone mounted them directly into the plastic but I assume they were different.
