10% ethanol pump gas has never affected anything I've had.I do run 91+ octane and Stabil in the sxs,mowers,etc..
I would get the Super ATV billet hex tie rods for long travel. Not a lot of confidence in the extenders. I searched everywhere trying to find options for this kit, finally went with these. So far so good.
Damn the cobra axles are 750 a piece vs 250 for Rhino...am I missing something?HCR sells just the axle shafts, without the cv joints on them. The idea is to install the OEM cv joints on the shafts. We’ve done that on one set, but all the Xpeditions we’ve done since, we’ve used tip-to-tip axles from Demon and Cobra. It’s a lot less work.
However, the last batch of axles we got from Demon had issues with the cv boots failing… all 4 axles had at least one boot fail.
The Cobra Axles’ cv boots look like they’ll work better.
Yeah… not sure on that. No way they should be that expensive. Both the Demon and Cobra websites are a little unclear. Demon’s says $225/axle but doesn’t say for certain they’re long travel axles. Cobra’s doesn’t say if it’s a set or single…Damn the cobra axles are 750 a piece vs 250 for Rhino...am I missing something?
I talked to them, and the King cobras are $750(ish) a piece, and the cobras (not on their website) are $325(ish). I appreciate your help JT!Yeah… not sure on that.
