Mine does it....and no matter what you do, it'll leak if you wash it from the back to the front. Replacing the roof under warranty can help or make it worse. Best fix I've found is to order some EternaBond RV tape in black and seal it up. Did this to mine about a month ago and it's still staying...
I have almost 1200 miles on my XP 5 now and still think the brakes feel weak on it. With the thicker rotors, you'd think the brakes were upgraded for better braking response. Seems like I have to push really hard on the pedal at every stop....especially on hardtop.
Anyone have a problem with the Ride Command buttons going on and off on their Xpedition? Polaris already replaced this whole RC unit once because of it and it's doing it again on the new one.
Finally got my XP5 back this week. Oil leak fixed and so far no more clunking noise in the front. Sway bar bushings appeared to be the problem on mine. I can't grab the bar and shake it freely anymore.
Mine had a bad ball joint on the front driver's side already at 400 miles.....wasn't the main reason for the clunk though. My clunk is coming from the front sway bar bushings being shot already. Being replaced by the dealer this week. You could grab it with your bare hands and shake it and hear...
Some 3/4" stall mats from Tractor Supply, custom cut and sound deadener helps quite a bit too. That engine noise gets in between the skid plate and floor and echoes more than you think. Sound deadener on the rear firewall will help a lot. I did a double layer of it on the outside and a layer...
I have 426 miles on my XP5 and noticed oil on the garage floor.....oil pan leak as expected. Went in today for repairs. Also have either a ball joint or wheel bearing bad on drivers side front that needs fixed already. This machine hasn't seen anything really rough yet either.
In regards to some of the noise concerns here .....I bought some 3/4" rubber stall mats in a 4x6 sheet at Tractor Supply and made my own floor mats. Make sure you have plenty blades when cutting this stuff! It helps kill some of the echoing engine noise that gets between the floor and skid...
Not sure if you or anyone else here is disappointed in the rear flares not being extended long enough? My rear taillights and bedsides keep getting covered in mud in that last bit of uncovered territory. I actually bought some textured plastic and made my own extensions to cure this problem. A...
