I’ll try, however the XP 5 is a lot of cab to pressurize.
I still feel the shifter air while the heater is on, so not to confident.

I just can't wrap my head around the reason they use a boot style on the shifter for an open cab general, buy then put this sloppy slotted system on a northstar edition xpeditionI should have said minimize air infiltration instead of eliminate. Sorry about that. These machines are not air tight that's for sure.
Yes, I took the shift rubber boot out, placed siless sound deadening pad flat with a hole to go around the shifter, then I put fuzzy weather stripping around the shifter rod hole. This helped keep the cold air & dust out a lot for me.Has anyone noticed air coming in from around the gear shifter on the northstars? I'm not sure why they don't have a shift boot similar to the general
I put 1/2" wide weather stripping around the door frame where the door seal sits. Takes just a smaller amount of force to shut the door, but barely noticeable. This fixed the door leaks and hinge leaks for me.We've also noticed some air coming in by the door hinges, but it's minor compared to the shifter.
