35” tires

Anyone put 35” tires on their xpedition? Looking for a great tires that is on the lighter side
Anyone have any experience putting on the hcr long travel kit?
Anyone know how the valor tires hold up and how they compare in weight to other 35” tires?

How’s the clutching with the 35” tires

Coming from an x3 this thing was killed on power before the 35s. It has enough to do what I do West Virginia riding. Had a ball this weekend in it, was 25 degrees.

I just went from an x3 also and now have the xpedition north star xp
I’m trying to decide on the hcr kit and 35” tires vs a deep offset wheels and 32” tires with no hcr kit
We rode moab a lot and I want to be able to be safe rock crawling in this

I have never been a fan of the wide offset wheels personally. Every machine I’ve been in with them rides like a turd. puts too much load on the shock stroke. I’m happy with the HCR mid travel kit.

Dealer done zbros springs. I’m not a fan, after loading my crew in the back seat, cooler, tool box, etc. the tenders seem to be a little squished. Shock therapy which is what I had on my x3 released their springs for the xpedition, I would recommend them over zbros. Just for the simple fact of their formula and they want inventory for everything you have in machine so they can get proper spring set up.

They’re only about 4 pds heavier than the zillas I ran on my x3. Wanted to try something different a little less aggressive. So far so good. Ran them this weekend at 14. Could have been better at 8-9. I feel like zillas killed my x3 when they went on but they were reliable.

Awesome set up, That’s a beast with that wheel stance and 35’s. I agree with shock therapy springs cant go wrong with them. I’m running sys 3 rt320 33’s at 40# a piece and love them their 35’s are 43# if you would like some more zip fyi. Enjoy!!! As I’m jealous of you having that HCR set up. Maybe down the road? You can’t take the money with ya lol. Enjoy!!!

I like them so far, don’t have many miles on them. But they got though some snow that was around 16” deep with no problem. Yes I like the fact that it’s a lighter tire and should help with performance. I did go with the valor wheels and love the looks of them.

Ya know, I wanna say the shop got them on Amazon for like 200 bucks. They’re by no means expensive. One of my buddies thought they were some expensive light. They do good just not sure brand.
