What's new

35” tires

I like them so far, don’t have many miles on them. But they got though some snow that was around 16” deep with no problem. Yes I like the fact that it’s a lighter tire and should help with performance. I did go with the valor wheels and love the looks of them.
so you did end up going alpha? I like them so far less aggressive than zillas. I’m gonna see how they do next trip in drier environment. These slipped our last trip but I also watched 35zillas in front of me slip at same time. Be interesting to see how they do in rock.

I believe 18 and gets lower the longer your ride due to the mud. it’s definitely sagged more than I would have liked with the zbros springs. Should be about 19 imo.
I meant overall height, I'm trying to see how high my enclosed trailer door would need to be. The clearance is good info though so thank you!

Ooooo Gotya. I took mine out yesterday, let me get it cleaned up and the mud off of it this morning and I will get you an accurate measurement if you hadn’t gotten one already.

I havent yet and it would be appreciated sir! Thank you
Spoke to another buddy that has long travel 35s last night and he said right now with new springs his measures 78. So you’re gonna be all in that area. Also! Keep me in the loop on what we are buying🤣🤣🤣
I think we are gonna end up trading our Montana 377FL for a toy hauler. Just not sure which kind yet.

Anyone put 35” tires on their xpedition? Looking for a great tires that is on the lighter side
Anyone have any experience putting on the hcr long travel kit?
Anyone know how the valor tires hold up and how they compare in weight to other 35” tires?
Thanks
So even with the HCR kit, my car still rubs in the front a little bit with 35s a good option is you can go with a 2 inch forward front a arm that helps with that a lot

Really? Mine doesn’t rub at all with 35” carnivores.

does anyone know if you need to do a clutch kit or the gears when you go with a long travel kit with 35's. - I have read a lot of mixed reviews and am looking for someone with some knowledge.

We ride in the snow a lot and definitely need a clutch kit. Stock just slips the belt under that much load. Stock may be fine with road and less load driving but I’m not sure.

Gearing isn’t necessary… a clutch kit isn’t strictly necessary either, just highly recommended. One of my friends ran his Xpedition for about a year with HCR and 35” tires with the stock ECU tune and clutch. He never had to change the belt in that time, even with pulling a camp trailer, and running it on the dunes. Granted, this was on a ‘24 Xpedition, before the “comfort clutch” so I don’t know if Polaris changed the clutch spring rates along with the clutch weights. I don’t think they did though.

Thank you so much for the info. I was told at the dealership that my 24 has the upgraded comfort clutch in it that they did a recall on most of them to fix the clutch due to all of the noise. Whether that is true or not I don't know, but that is what they told me.

I wonder if I reached out to Polaris if they would be able to tell me what the spring rates and clutch weights they have on it

If your top rpm hits around 7200-7500 rpm, it’s the comfort clutch if it hits 7800 rpm, it’s the prior setup.
Like I said, I don’t think they changed the spring rates, but even if they did they won’t be as good as the springs in an Aftermarket Assassins or Gilomen clutch kit.
