Hey all, So I started to get a front-end rattle on the driver's side. It does not sound like metal to metal, maybe hard plastic to plastic. It's driving me crazy; I have had the front end up off the ground and cannot find anything loose. I took the driver's side top of the hood off and secured some of the wired connectors, but that didn't help. I have stock shocks and springs. Any help would be great, thanks.

It’s very difficult to say without hearing the rattle. Does it sound like it’s from inside the cab, or outside? Does the rattle go away when you use the brakes? Is it intermittent, like when you hit bigger bumps, or constant?

You could also check and see if the spring divider is rubbing the threads on the shock body. It’s sometimes possible for the divider to bounce against the shock body, or for the OEM springs to bow after a while and rub the divider against it.

It is a constant rattle, at any speed, mostly running thru wash board. I will check the dividers when I get home. Thanks JT.

Not on my ADV but used my son's Ranger last week and the windshield frame was rattling. It looked like the center attachment could be adjusted to tighten it up to the frame

Good Luck, rattles drive me nuts as well.
