Still have my General. Haven’t driven it since I purchased the X. No issues what so ever. It’s like buying on Amazon. Look at the ratings and see 5 bad ones and you change your mind. Luck of the draw I guess. Also some people complain about everything or treat their stuff like shit.
I just ordered mine and concern if you have to pull at an angle will the rope get damaged by the bumper? I wonder if the fairlead can be placed further out.
So what are you using to attach the light to the bar? Did you use the factory wire provided? If so was the wire inside long enough to put the switch at the center switch area?
I had just installed new suspension seats in my General last year. Then I bought the Xpedition. I checked with ACE racing to check if they make brackets for the same seat I have on the General and they do. So to answer your question they do have seats and they don’t break the bank. Great...
The clunk I’m hearing is intermittent and up front. I was asking a local SXS shop here in Utah and they said it could be the shocks not having the correct pressure in them. (Cavitation)Doing more research on line I found that these shocks are terrible for not holding the nitrogen pressure. Also...
Just checked mine at 1200 miles. Belt looks fine. I was surprised how clean it was inside the housing. I also was fortunate to get thousands of miles on my Ranger. It is all in how you use them. I’m not a slow driver but I do know when to take it easy on parts.
Same here. I’m I very happy with mine. First year design will probably carry on for a few years. Any serious design flaws should be addressed but service centers can try correcting them first. Recalls of coarse happen too. Colors are a way of saying “ I have a newer one”
I just weighed them…. 71 lbs. FedEx screwed up my delivery and I’m missing one tire, wheel and lug nuts so I can’t try them out yet. I put one one the front and clearance seems good. Do you remember how many turns on your springs you did?
I will be putting 33’s on in the future. I don’t see any issues with it. They have already saved the lower plastic body. It also has a place to stand with the doors closed. All I can say is I’m glad I have them.

Prinsu is the product name. Very lightweight and strong. Made of aluminum. No steel. Fits perfectly to the contour of the roof. They also have a light bar option on the wind deflector. I believe it’s a lower profile than...
I’m sorry to hear that. We spend good money and that’s the response you get? Unacceptable! I would send something to Polaris stating what they told you. I’ve had mine for 2 months and 800 miles with no issues. This is a dealer get ready problem and should not happen. It’s a given we could have...
Installed my RPM muffler today. Sounds about the same. Looks great! Might feel a little more responsive in the throttle. Expecting less heat with no cat to deal with. Shipping was very fast and packing was great
The thing that concerns me about the stock muffler is it’s a cat. Sure hp is a plus but heat buildup I can do without. I like a nice looking exhaust too. For double the cost how much is worth it? I found that RPM powersports has a SS that’s only $399. looks and sounds decent. Also offers the...
You can’t go wrong with this choice for a family. Not a race car but it is not a sloth either. Ride is amazingly plush and very forgiving in rough terrain. It has noise but not like a razor which in my opinion is much louder. Glad I made the switch.
I’m fine in the front seats. Haven’t ridden in a 5. I don’t know if they duct air to the back or not. I do know your concern though. Temps in Az do get up there. Engine temp on mine is 180 to 195 most of the time. Was running uphill grade and it hit 210. Interior heat got worse. Mostly coming up...
Yeah I wasn’t thinking about that. I’m sure if you gave them a call they might make them available. I’m surprised they don’t already. I really do like them. They have a spot for non slip standing on them and also a step for getting in. Plate steel along the edge under the tube. Very rugged and...
Adam’s also has a black plastic treatment that works too. Doesn’t attract dust either. I also used their ceramic coating and it does make cleaning easier.
Just in case someone wants to order Sam’s Backup here’s what to do. The website says sold out but I emailed them and was told they had too many complaints that no light was supplied. It does say it includes light. I prefer to add my own light anyway so I ordered it.
On my General I had to wire a relay into 2 pins on the ECU. Worked great and had no issues. I’m sure somewhere there is pin outs identified for the Xpedition. You need special pins that match the plug also.
I have mine in for service and mentioned it to them. They acted like, really? I think your fix probably is what I will do. I’m going to have a roof rack so maybe it won’t warp so much with the sun off it. It just seams they would have put a screw or something to hold it down. Thanks for your input.
