Sun Visor / Shading / Tinting / Windshield / Windows

Interested in any solutions for Sun Visor in Northstar ADV5 other than the standard base ball cap. There are some excellent posts on tinting / windshield banner in other areas on this site as well ... xpeditionforums. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tint is the best way, but in the mean time I bought these.

I bought those also but they broke. The company was very quick to replace but the 2nd set also broke. It's my opinion that they are not made for the off road community.

Bought the Polaris sun visors. Fit is good. Instructions say to remove roof bolts but got away with just loosening window bolts and reusing them.

Good to hear! I definitely wished I had visors quite a few times.

If you truly want sun protection both thermal and intensity, tint your windows, including your windshield. I don't wear sunglasses when I am in the rig, only when I step out.

Just took the Northstar in and had the windshield and all windows tinted. I went 30% on the windshield, 20% on the front door windows, and 15% on all of the others. The affect is immediately noticeable. Out here in Arizona, at 115 degrees the a/c works amazingly well, with the tint, it easily...

There are times when you don’t want to look directly at the sun. My windshield is tinted also.

I have mine tinted too. Not that much but the side windows at night are affecting visibility. Daytime is great though.

50% on the front 20% sides and 5% back... wish i could find a dark plexi glass for the back bottom
