I had the same issue on mine and took it to the dealer last weekend. They changed a "brake sensor" and that appears to have fixed it. It was very frustrating taking my unit out and not being able to get to 20mph (even with the seat belt plugged in).

I found just the strap needed to make this job easy. It was a Jeep door strap on Amazon that has different connection points so you can get the correct length. The listing shows the dimensions from one end, but if you measure from the other end, I found a position that made the strap 6.3" long...
