Installation of Gilman clutch

Considering getting the Gilman clutch kit that I have heard about on this forum to possibly quit down my adv2. Can’t find any installation directions and wondering how difficult it is to install? Only trail ride and road usage at slower speeds 30-40. Thanks

My kit shows up today, may tackle it this weekend, doesn't look too bad for install

It was easy, did Gilman clutch and spring, new rollers on the secondary, and new Hunter belt in an hour. Take the rear tire off and don’t fight it

Took a drive today, works as advertised, much much quieter, could even listen to the radio. Rolls of sound deadening insulation happen next weekend

Hey Matt, hows everthing going with the sound deadening? You have some pretty thick material shown, where you planning for that to go?

I have completed the interior, need to do the tunnel from underneath yet, made a noticeable difference, I may start a new thread

Which sound deadening material did you go with. It looks pretty thick and should work well.

I went to install my clutch kit today. Cut my hand trying to get the plastic tubing out of the way. Jacked up the backend to help get the plastic shroud out, also had to take out the dump box shock. I ended up breaking a bolt on the clutch kit because I wasn’t used to my new torque bar. Now I can’t complete the job until I get another bolt.

I just had the thought last night - man this thing only has power really from 0-30. I had been thinking about doing the quieter clutch but not sure how it would work with 35s.
