If you need a new start key cut, you have to get a special Polaris key (the locksmith must order from Polaris). They will cut you a key, but you will get home and find it does not work. They door keys can made all day long with a regular key they have, but I sent the Husband to the locksmith (yelp said they were old-school) and sure enough, the regular clerk cut the keys and he was ready to go out the door when the older owner came out. The clerk asked her to look it over and then the lady asked if this was for a Polaris. Husband said it was, and the older lady said the door key will work and but the engine key won't. She had to go grab a box of these special keys she bought for Polaris and cut him a new key. He came home and they both work. Just an FYI.
