Front vs Rear tire size on Stock Northstar

Can anyone tell me why the front 30 inch tires are 10 inch and the rears are 11 inch, both on 15 inch rims; Is there a reason?
Also, which spare should I carry, 10 or 11 inch?

I carry the 10". Not sure why factory does this. Will make the the same when I run out of tread on these.

I couldn't handle the thought of having 1 spare tire to only fit 2 wheels....so I got 5 33"x10"-!5 Terrabites and one new wheel, you can find them on Ebay for about $200 for the wheel, tires were $205 each thru Amazon. Problem solved, just throw more $$ at it.

OK, here's the skinny; I pulled the trigger today on the expedition. The shop told me the reason for the 11 inch rears is from Polaris who assumes that everyone would be packing a lot of gear in the back and it would be heavy, thus the 11 inch tires. He said just run them down and replace all four with 31 inch when they are gone.

33” fits fine! No rubbing on full turn, adds 1.5” of height. I’m an old guy, so I’m not jumping any sand dunes, could take some clearance off of travel, but absolutely nothing noticeable so far.

I have 33” Coyotes and they rub bad. I had to install 2” forward A-Arms and metal wheel well guards.

I order System 3 XC 450’s 33x10x15 with a 6:1 offset. What offset are you all running?

I’m running 33” System 3’s (XCR 350) with no rubbing but did have the springs cranked down some.

I just weighed them…. 71 lbs. FedEx screwed up my delivery and I’m missing one tire, wheel and lug nuts so I can’t try them out yet. I put one one the front and clearance seems good. Do you remember how many turns on your springs you did?

Yes. The 6-1 offset on Sedona Sano beadlock wheels. Don’t know how many turns but cranked them down like an 1 1/2”.
