Has anyone heard if there is some kind of fender extension to keep mud off the side?

I have the same question. Fender flare extensions are definitely needed as the tires stick out past the existing fenders and throw mud, rocks and water into the cab if you have the windows down. The only thing I have found so far is fender extensions made by Polaris for $449. Their not available until November. I think I'll wait for some aftermarket ones, which will probably be half the price.

In the Build, Under Protection you can add the "Full Coverage Fender Flares" for $449.99. This option say: Add Full Coverage Fender Flares to provide extra coverage by helping keep mud and other debris from getting inside the cab of your vehicle, extending the width of the vehicle to 72ā€. They easily install with the stock fender flares and add factory styling to your ride. Recommended for use with snow tracks to ensure maximum protection.

Thanks for the information on the fender flares. Looks like will be available November. Checked with dealer and they will let me know when they can get.

I ordered mine when I ordered the machine. It took them about a month after I got my XP 5 and I just installed them today.

Install process only took about an hour.

Theyā€™re not as good as the General XP flares were but these are decent and fit the look of the machine.

Great looking rigs. How many miles on the KM3s?
How does the Xpedition ride compared to the long travel Ranger on Kings?

Thank you šŸ˜Š

I have around 4300 miles on the KM3s. Pulled them off my old General when I traded it in.
The long travel definitely helps the Rangerā€™s ride, but itā€™s still a tank compared with the Xpeditions ride, from the factory. It also helps that the seating in the Xpedition is way better than that of the Ranger.

Awesome to hear that the X still beats out the best a Ranger could be. And what a relief to see some real miles on the KM3s ha. I was sure hoping you didnt say 500. The X is the heaviest sxs ever (until the ranger XD ships) so im sure itll eat tires but good to see that the KM3s already had a bunch of miles. That Ranger build with the HCR and Kings is killer - always wanted to ride in one set up like that.

Our primary riding is on rocky desert trails, so those tires have been put to the test. Iā€™m guessing around another 1000-2000 before I replace them. They really are a good all-around tire though. Theyā€™ve done reasonably well at the dunes and handled rock crawling pretty well.

The Ranger in the picture is one of my brothers. Itā€™s a 3 seat Northstar He also has a newer 6 seat Northstar with the HCR long travel with Zbros shocks. I havenā€™t driven them enough to have an opinion about King v Zbros but theyā€™re a massive improvement over stock. It still blows my mind that the Xpedition rides so much better than all the cars we dumped thousands into the suspension on.

Guess in a couple months weā€™ll get to see what HCR on the Xpedition will do as I believe heā€™s first on the list with them. Probably only thing Iā€™ll be doing with my suspension is springs. With 1ā€ wheel adapters and 4/3 offset wheels, my machine is as wide as it would be with long travel at 72ā€

I wasnā€™t sure if I wanted fender flares till i saw these picks ... helped me to decide to get a set for Bomber Girl... just the right cover for the new rim offset..

I'm still waiting on my Xpedition yet, but I have about 5k miles on KM3's on my ranger Northstar. I love em and they have a lot of miles left in them.
