I carry two Packouts on the floorboard behind the front seat. One has part of my tools. The second has a Viair 400P EF compressor. The compressor has a SAE power connector so I installed a SAE power socket behind the rear seat next to my external battery terminals. I bought one with 10 gauge wire since the compressor has a 40A fuse. Drilled a hole in the side of the Packout and installed a rubber grommet. I just leave it plugged in and ready to go. With the 25' hose I can reach all four tires. If needed I can move it outside the machine if I need more reach for somebody elses SXS. The compressor comes with alligator clips for direct connection to a battery as well.
Had to remove the air fitting on the compressor and install and elbow and then the fitting aiming up. Viair uses loctite so you gotta heat it up to remove it.
I also carry my tire gauge in the box

That’s a nice setup!
I just use a Makita 18v cordless compressor for now, but I’ve been looking at 10 cfm wired compressors options. It’d be nice to not have to spend so much time airing up tires.
I originally thought I would mount an ARB somewhere. Not enough room under the hood and under the rear seat is already used by other stuff.
I was using a cheap Green Slime compressor. Took way to long to air back up so we just started driving back home at 9 psi. Hopefully I will be able to air back up from 9 to 15 or 20 psi fairly quickly. The locking chuck is nice as well. After I use it awhile I will report back
