Went out and bought the factory heater kit first of many upgrades I want to do on this thing

That looks like quite the project!
While you have all that apart is a great time to pack any areas behind the dash that allow dust and air through 🙂
 
Was thinking the same thing great idea. Was looking at the rubberize sticky tape they have at the rv repair shops. Using it to fill the spots were it’s needed
 
Printed out the instructions be aware it’s like 130 some pages long, but it takes you step by step. Even goes through putting it back together. It’s time consuming like 7hrs. But overall it’s simple.
 
Finished the install, sorry for the lack a of pictures. Wanted to finish it Tuesday to go riding yesterday. What a difference it made. Impressive on how warm it keep the cab. Started the day in about 40 degrees and wind about 20-25. After about 20 minutes had to slow it down a bit. The one I might do is take the thermostat out and of the upper hose, and reinstall the factory hose with the tee. Sucks waiting for the rig to hit around 180 for it to start blowing warm air out the vents
