Yes the stock springs seem to start sagging pretty quickly. I converted to shock therapy dual rate springs to eliminate this but have spent more time messing with the old and new springs and ride height than I care to mention. For me it was easier to just pull the front shocks and adjust off the...
Mine has been having issues too and was running the most recent update. Re-ran update and now it is fine. Can’t get wife’s 2020 Pro xp to work for the life of me though. Replaced antenna, rolled back to old updates, etc. Will hold off for awhile on replacing her screen as my hunch is it is a...
Agree. My son’s RZR200 just had a several month stop ride notice for steering rack replacement. In that situation it seemed like the only thing that prompted total recall was that there were some wrecks. I get that there are going to be some issues with these machines but starting to feel like...
Good for you- I hope that fixed it. I disconnected my sway bar and still have it. I think mine is wheel bearing but won’t have time to tear into for awhile.
RNB - seems like the link below is what you are describing and matches my issue to a T. I will be pressing out my wheel bearings and trying this at some point.
https://www.rzrforums.net/threads/diagnosing-a-popping-noise-in-wheels-when-steering-help.579417/
Just finished installing the ST dual rate spring kit. Was hoping my noise was from the stock spring dividers and would get a magic fix but no dice. My pop definitely sounds like a ball joint on my left front but they seem fine. Sway bar also solid and seems fine. Hopefully one of you taking into...
I just looked in the service manual - there is not an adjustable switch like I was thinking. However if you look at the bottom of your brake master cylinder you should see a wired switch that is on the rear banjo bolt connection. I would check and clean your electrical plug connection there and...
Is it possible that it triggers off of the brake light switch behind the pedal? If your brake lights are triggering on without touching the pedal then adjusting that switch might take care of it.
I did some alignment work on mine and got it pretty good but it pulled some before I did that. Put a turn or two in your front tie rods to push the front of the front tires to the left and see if it makes a difference.
For you experienced duners out there, curious what tires you would run in the sand on your Xpedition. Something like the ss360 all around or a true paddle on the rear?
I was going to try this one. It looks like it will fit but not 100% sure as rhino has a few different platform styles.

Maybe you already tried this but when looking at the rack on the Polaris website you can select ‘check dealer stock’. I got lucky and found one sitting in dealer stock at a neighboring town and snatched it up.
I experience the same and I think originated the original question/thread you saw. Mine seems to only do it while moving. I’ve been over the front end and can’t find any problems. I feel like I hear the noise from the spring and shock area. I have a dual rate spring kit to install and am curious...
lol I suffer from the same affliction….
my machine is used similarly and the scene lights are one of my favorite additions when doing anything at night.
The kit is available for those of you that were waiting for it like me. Appears to be only the 5 seat version for sale right now. I called and confirmed it does come with new spring dividers as they weren’t pictured or mentioned on the website.
Didn’t I see you were planning to add a turbo kit? I definitely would not run this clutch with a turbo - you will be reducing the power gains from your turbo with this. Apologies if I have the wrong member - I don’t see that thread now.
You will lose some power on any cruiser clutch kit including the Polaris version. There is no way around it. Kit lowers rpm and upper rpm is where the power is made.
Looks like ADV5 and XP5 skid plate is now available. Looking at install, it doesn’t appear it will fit with the Polaris Low Profile Rock Sliders. Since that rock slider has a radius around and under the machine it doesn’t appear there will be clearance to reinstall the rock slider. If you are...
Thanks. The whole thing has me confused and frustrated. Some folks are like you and have great heat. Others of us arent getting the same performance. I have tested and verified my controls are working correctly. And of course Polaris tells me everything is fine. Without my mod above mine is not...
Update - I temporarily installed a 12v in line booster pump with switch on the heater core inlet. As you can see in the picture, I got 149 degree air with engine at 189 at idle. It is my opinion that the water pump doesn’t have adequate flow to the heater core to produce truly hot air. I need to...
Update. The dealer went through all of the coolant system performance and found no issues. With a Snapon vent probe the mechanic got 115 degree air with machine idling at 175. I suppose their readings are slightly higher than mine since it is now 35 degrees warmer outside. They took their temp...
Mine scheduled for tomorrow. Agree with you - if no solution it’s going to be a deal breaker for me for where I live. Hoping for something simple because I love the machine but won’t keep something that pumps out heater air the temp of my breath….
Agree these are all good things to do and I’ve also been running a cardboard cover in front of my radiator. Yours looks nice!
My issue is lack of hot air directly from the vents which I feel is unrelated to cab sealing. My cab sealing is actually great - no snow or cold air coming in after...
Did the same with no meaningful improvement other than it’s warmer outside so my vent temp increased slightly. Getting air around 100 - I feel like it should be 130+. Like you, I am concerned there is some sort of system flow issue that the dealer isn’t going to have an answer for.
I would recommend the oem mirrors. Factory fit for machine,
are of good quality, and maybe a 20 minute install. Not sure why someone would go another direction unless they were wanting a lighted mirror.
We use Cardo Packtalk bold headsets. Can control music in headset from ride command screen or can switch and have music play over vehicle speakers. Allows coms with other group riders or in vehicle passengers and units can pop out of headset and pop onto helmet. This works great for my 9 year...
I feel like it might be an airlock in the heater core. I experienced the same thing - much cooler outlet hose. Ran it up to temp and popped the outlet hose off and hot coolant flowed out of heater. Put hose back on and outlet hose was much closer in temp to inlet for a few minutes and then it...
Welcome! My heater seems to under perform as well. The warmest air I’ve got from the vents is 90-95 degrees which tells me there is an issue. Have had others tell me their heater burns them out. Mine is scheduled to go to the dealer for this next week.
Curious if anyone else in a cold climate is struggling to get hot air out of their heater. The air has never felt hot but luke warm. I didn’t think much of it in the fall as the interior was plenty warm but now we are truly cold outside. In a 40 degree garage with machine cycling between 180-190...
Let us know. I plan on contacting mine as well but believe the lack of cross support to be the main culprit so unfortunately I don’t expect a different result. I lived with it but now it is no longer an aesthetic issue.
My rear roof panel has a bow in from the top since new. Looks like all machines have it based on pictures I’ve seen. Didn’t love it but hasn’t been an issue until now. Machine sat outside for a few hours in the rain yesterday. Enough for a lot of water to evidently pool on the rear roof section...
If I were to do it I would probably get this harness and run the output wire to the center light on your chase bar.

I run stock offset S3 SB6 and think mine still measured between 66 and 67 wide. I dont ride anywhere with a width restriction but would probably be tight or not doable if I did.
Welcome! +1 on the Cardo’s they work well for us as well. I actually wired up a Packtalk Edge on my Bose Quiet comfort headphones so I get good music audio and active noise cancellation.
Very helpful thank you! Sounds like the 33’s a few companies have out are the sweet spot without any a arm/lift/long travel mods. I have 32”megabites measuring 31.25 on the machine. Seem to perform well but the profile of them is fugly to me anyway. Guess I should run them and wear them out and...
I couldn’t agree with you more. To get a Ranger close to this you would need a turbo and long travel at which point you would exceed the Xpedition cost and probably still fall short on performance in some areas.
That looks like a blast! I see an Army Green machine in your group. Didn’t care for the color when they first came out but seeing in the wild it has really grown on me.
I won’t try to sell you an Xpedition but I sure love mine. I am in Iowa so an hvac cab in winter was non negotiable. Came from a Northstar ranger and wanted more performance than the ranger offers. The Xpedition suspension, seats, cab fit and finish, and power make for an outstanding machine...
I followed these and got it off. In retrospect I wondered if I might have been able to do the install without totally removing but who knows. They said to remove so I did.
Really like those 450 tires. I prefer that profile vs the rounded skinny look of the megabites I put on. Any feedback on tire performance would be appreciated.
Sweet looking machine by the way!
Have messed with this a bit too although didn’t run them out as far as it sounds like you did. Felt like the springs sagged a bit after break in and shocks started to get out of their range. Will do a ST spring kit when they come out.
Did you get a lot of positive camber from your adjustments...
