Ah I see what you mean. The video isn’t really clear on those. The driver side appears to bolt to the outer hinge plate but it doesn’t show what he’s bolting to on the passenger side. You might try calling them and asking for some clarification.

Another connection point is the bed harness. The tail/brake light harness plug has the camera wires in it too. If you’ve done W. D. Electronics turn signal kit, it plugs in between the plugs for the bed at the left rear of the frame and I’ve had them push pins out of the plug before.

I swear, some filters act like someone put them on with an impact gun 😂 And I’ve known people who’ve installed them with a filter wrench so just putting that out there 😊

Also, I tuck a piece of rag under the oil filter to catch any oil that drips out when removing the old filter. Otherwise it’ll run down the side of the motor and leave you wondering if you have a leak or if it’s residue from the service.

If it gets down to it, I use a pair of Channel Locks. It’ll crinkle the filter in but should do the job. Just remember, when you put the new filter on, lube the gasket and then hand snug! Don’t use the filter wrench to install or you’ll be back to the same problem next service.

The upper cover, for when you keep the stock winch, bolts in from the sides. The vertical slots allow access for those bolts.

This is my Brothers with the 6000# winch. It’s definitely a lot more open. I just double checked on mine with the stock 4500# winch and the only area that would be a problem for the is angled up.

If/when ever have an issue with the stock wheel bearings, my plan is to change them out with Sandcraft taper bearings. I’m running a really deep offset wheel and my Xpedition is always loaded pretty heavy so I know I’m putting a lot of strain on them, but no issues so far with 2000 miles on them.

It would be a rather extreme angle before it would rub on the bumper. The only situation where I could see that happening would be self-recovery, and I don’t think it would be enough to damage the rope.

Not exactly sure… UPS label says 94 pounds but I’d guess 15-20 pounds of that is the packaging. The side pieces are steel and the top tray is aluminum.

Per RBO, the max weight for the top tray is 60 pounds. And it was super easy to assemble. There’s only 3 pieces, not including accessory mounts. Just the 2 sides and the top tray. It came in a huge box and really well packaged.

I’m running a Gilomen ECU tune and I still get the O2 sensor code when I’m in the higher elevations. It doesn’t seem to affect anything. Still have full power. It usually seems to pop up if I idle very much, and usually goes away after a bit of riding.

I mean… if it’s apples to apples, the Polaris Ranger is as quiet as a can-am defender. And you get the entire 82 horsepower to play with! The Xpedition is an entirely different class. It’s intended for sport and adventure whereas the Defender and Ranger are intended for utility.

Just a side note on my clips… The first one, we were doing clutch tuning. So that was full throttle from a rolling 5mph start. The second clip was running the same specifically to get as true a reading as possible after the insulation. The speeds the clips show weren’t important in context...
