Thx for the reply. No, we're planning to be there in the 2-3 weeks. Been tied up with other business. Our friends there are not riders, but we've gotten more info since I posted, including some trail maps of the area. So we pretty well have a game plan at this point.

We're hoping to be in your area soon for a SxS trip. We have friends in L'Anse and hope to base camp out of there, traveling each way to Copper Harbor and down towards Iron River. Still in the process of figuring out fuel, meal and lodging stops, as well as which specific trails to take.

On the Ranger NS the tires would never hold pressure. So I finally Slimed them and never again had any issues with pressure. I'm sure it is a mess to change a tire, but if I couldn't hold tire pressure, I'd do the Slime all over again. So far, no problems with holding pressure on the ADV.

There is a good selection of trails with different degrees of difficulty. Something for everyone.

Saw the new lineup and I like my Storm Blue better than any of the new colors. Doesn't look like they've really made any changes/improvements. Oh well. We're happy with what we've got and was just curious anyway.

I've got a Gilomen tune and Gilomen performance clutch kit. I can maintain 8800+rpm. Given a little good road, it will top out somewhere over 77mph. I just let off there, as I didn't think it really mattered. I never need speed like that anyway. But I love the torque and acceleration Gilomen offers.

Rob, just be careful and make sure you don't have any wiring running in your A pillars from accessories. I know I have wiring in my driver side from my GMRS antenna and possibly the 50" light bar. You really don't need one on the driver side anyway. The driver can always grab the steering wheel...
