Wow, it's got some serious ground clearance and suspension travel! The new 1500cc engine is cool and I'm interested to know more about the metal belt system and how it performs. Heated seats in the higher-end trim level is a nice feature for those in colder climates.
When the news is this big, it helps to have a couple of heavy-duty hitters like the Diesel Brothers help with the official unveiling. Tune in at 6:15pm CT today for the big reveal!
The tinted windows look fantastic with Army Green paint!
That mounting location looks like a good solution. Maybe you could mount a Rhino grip to the side there to hold it securely. Here's a link to the ones I used under the middle seat in a Defender I had that worked well.

That's some great real-world testing right there! I'm surprised those tires didn't clear out better, but that is some thick mud that looks really sticky. It almost seems like it has some clay in it.
Thank you for sharing your initial impressions! We would love to see some pictures as I don't think anyone has posted an Xpedition with tinted windows yet.
I would think that the center console on the Xpedition would remove the ability for the normal middle-of-the-floor gun mount. If the passenger seat flips up then you could possibly mount some rifle mounts under the seat that become usable when you flip the seat up. Otherwise, I think your only...
True, in the video that did show a brief shot of the driver aggressively shifting the gear lever. Maybe that is a teaser for the geared transmission that you mentioned???
Maybe it's something similar to the Can-Am Defender's Work Mode?

Wow, now that's the way to do it! Is your trailer the Conestoga model?

Your Ranger build looks pretty awesome as well! Is that a turbo I spy?
Bucket seats are the way to go if you can! My kiddo and dog on the other hand would completely disagree haha! They like to roam all over the front of the cab or sit right next to me. I need to start getting them used to the backseat...
Welcome to the forum! 🍻
It sounds like your progression has been very similar to ours! Have you received your Xpedition yet or are you still in the ordering process?
That's super helpful, thank you! I'm a fan of the Milwaukee Packout System as well so it's nice to see that two mounting plates fit nicely in the bed with room to spare.
Do the rear seats flip up by chance or do you have to maneuver things through the door opening to make them fit?
Welcome to the forum @Shanecorn 🍻
Several of our members have already received their Xpeditions and have posted lots of great initial impressions and photos so far!
From a manufacturing standpoint, it would make sense if they released a new Ranger with the Xpedition engine and chassis. Everything else they could gear towards work like a front bench seat, dump bed, etc.
Welcome to the forum @Horning3398 🍻
I think you're our first convert from another brand. We will be anxious to hear your thoughts on the new Xpedition compared to your experiences with Honda.
It looks like the Xpedition isn't the only new machine Polaris is going to launch this year! It seems as though they are either going to release a big update to the Ranger line of vehicles or offer something completely new. The rear bed section on this teaser picture has me intrigued to find out...
In this video, we will cover the rooftop tent installation process on a Polaris XPEDITION XP/ADV.

These mods look great! I only have a 12'' light bar on the front bumper so I can only image how good that overhead LED bar works! Thank you for sharing the real-world gross weight. It will be interesting to see how much more the ADV5 weights with its enclosed cargo area and extra glass.
I'm glad to hear the insulation helped some. I was cruising my Can-Am Defender Max Lone Star Cab today and decided to watch the rpms since I was hearing how high the rpms seem to be on the new Xpedition under normal cruising conditions. At about 25 mph on relatively flat ground, it was holding...
Welcome to the forum @JTBarlow 🍻
