I just purchased a hunt edition xpedition 2 door full cab. I wonder if anyone has seen anything available to mount a gun rack inside the cab? I love the Texas holdem gun racks but I'm not sure on the mounting options inside the cab.

I would think that the center console on the Xpedition would remove the ability for the normal middle-of-the-floor gun mount. If the passenger seat flips up then you could possibly mount some rifle mounts under the seat that become usable when you flip the seat up. Otherwise, I think your only option would be across the back window, but I don't know if there is enough room behind your head/headrests?

This video shows a gun boot mounted with the Lock and Ride system in the bed.

This is what I have in mine.

i have my guns mounted over head in my sxs. im sure there is enough head space in a expedition. Full disclosure i was going to order a expedition and waited until the new ranger came out.. i ordered the ranger just because it fits my needs better..... but back to the gun mounts... ive had the others that sit to the side and behind and ultimately decided i like over head best because its cleaner for the guns and more outta the road for the other shit rolling around in the cab with you!

Hi stakes outdoors. It's the Texas holdem.
I talked to the owner and he didn't offer anything for the xpedition. But since I had the ability to do some fab work, he was willing to make an exception and sold me some extra parts so that I could make it work.

I really like the way you set that up.
That upper bracket did you have to take apart the center stack to bolt through that plastic?

I did not. I just made sure that I didn't drill deep. Then I used some of the good screws that are made for plastic. It's actually the same screws that are used in other places on this machine.

Yes rivet nuts are definitely an option. I had to buy some extra parts and I also bought a set up for my tractor at the same time so I really don't remember exactly.
It's not cheap, but well worth it IMO. I want to say $500 but I could be wrong.

Yeah, definitely not cheap. But I wanted something that I could ride however extreme I wanted without the worry of my gun coming out.
I have had all the other options and they're not even close to holding like this does. Well worth the money for safety. IMO

Where I first saw these was on a Nilgai hunt in a high rise and we were in some rough terrain and the guns never moved.
At first I wasn't sure how to mount it in this xpedition with such limited space. But I love how this turned out. and its very accessible.
