Bomber Girl

It had a warning not for use as a cooler. The size is kind of nice and could be used as a day cooler with no problem. Some coolers don,t stay cool long, crap even the over price yetis are not That efficient at keeping the drinks cold for long

For everyday use on my Xpedition I use Packout soft coolers. They’ll keep ice for a day and a half. But for camping, we use Lifetime coolers. They’ll keep ice for 3+ days in the southern Nevada summer heat and are less expensive than Yetis.

I have had these for 6 months. I am just gotten around to mounting them. Since I have been packing more shit, I think I need to strap stuff down better. It is a shame that once you start using them, u don’t get too see how cool they look.

I installed the bed rails and wasn't impressed with where they bolt into the bed. Yeah, it makes sense to use the existing holes however after putting a couple cargo boxes in the bed and strapping them down I could see the rails start to lift away from the bed. I have no doubts if I cranked on the ratchet straps it would be a problem. An anchor point somewhere in the center of the rail would be nice.

Same thought s with me too. They are to close or to far for the plano boxes I use. I haven’t tried cranking down. That is good to know.
