Beautiful pictures, looks like a terrific ride. Last week we rode the train out of Williams up to the Canyon. Any chance you may have run a track of your ride you can share?
Thanks.

This was north side of the Grand Canyon. Left from St. George Utah and headed down.
One of the spots is called Whitmore overlook, south of the Bar 10 Ranch.

The others, we just chased trails around the canyon further southwest towards Parashant.

Love it; thanks for posting the photos, Been to Whitmore and Kanab Creek a couple of times in my old RZR 900. Did the south bank last fall in my X - very large group. Doing Toroweap at the end of April 2024 in X with small group. Staying late enough for sunset fotos. Never done overnight ... yet. I live in St George area. Will try to post fotos here. Also, the chopper out of Vegas in September 23 and set down in the GC on the Indian Reservation for champagne.

Sounds awesome!

Even a 5 day 4 night camping trip wasn’t enough for how many trails are out there. We’ll be back out there before long.

Hey @JTBarlow curious on how you all did on fuel for that run from St. George to the North Rim. How much extra fuel would you recommend to carry for a trip from St George to Whitmore and back?

We were pulling camp trailers out and back with our Xpeditions so we used a little more fuel than typical, but an extra 5 gallons of gas would get you to Whitmore and back fairly easily with just the Xpedition. The trip straight to Whitmore and back is only around 150 miles.

We each carried 20 gallons of extra gas in our trailers, and besides going to Whitmore, we did another 150 miles or so of trails over 3 days out there. We set up camp about 20 miles away from Whitmore, and even with pulling the trailer I was at 58% on fuel at that point.

Our whole trip was 296 miles, 110 miles of that pulling the camp trailers. Besides the initial tank of gas, I put in 17 gallons of what I was carrying and got back to St George with 82% in the tank.
