My winch is pulled in so tightly that the rubber bumper on the rope behind the hook is squished. I can't rotate the knob to unlock it. When I have someone push the out button, the winch clicks but I can't pull the rope out. How do I fix this issue?
The rubber is the stop mechanism. Take your hook off if possible slide rubber off see if winch will move . When you put rubber back on keep your hook a few inches away for slack . Good luck .
