2) Anyone? Not ideal since it makes the ADV longer than my 12’ trailer, but … Amazon.com
3) Anyone just strap a spare on top of plastic stock roof? Where do you attach it with ratchet ties?

I don't typically care the spare but if I do it just lays on top of my Packouts in the bed.
Instead of a spare I
1. Run beadlocks
2. Carry Gluetread sidewall patch kit
3. Carry Sidewall Slug
4. Carry Green Slime, tire plug kit and air compressor

Thanks JD and Dog. Likewise I have ridden my Ranger for 10+ years all over AZ and never had any tire issue! Friday I was carrying a tire repair kit, this stuff that works great on my dirtbikes but I have not used for Xhex yet that imho is much better than slime TireJect Off-Road Tubeless Tire... Amazon.com
And this excellent strong but notatruecompressor fella ETENWOLF VORTEX S6 Tire Inflator... Amazon.com
So given I thought these trails were lite (and they were except for ONE section) I figured I could repair anything I needed on the trail.

But not a tire off the rim.
Ordered this (thanks for the recommendation forums!) https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...ra8H5IuGjhaycapJClxgum5Hf_PjJuMFBhyMoaXuvVMGC

Added to the xhex kit: WD40, more ratchet straps to re-seat a tire, a lighter and starter fluid for that method, and (hat tip) a co2 and pump I had on my dirtbike (doh!). https://a.co/d/af4nNPK
Will investigate beadlocks, have them on my bikes (doh!) …
Still thinking I want to carry a spare tho… hmmm

Correction: I have rimlocks on my bikes (with tubes) which is different than beadlocks (tubeless) most of you already knew. Similar concept but different.

I've had two flats with beadlock wheels. I carry a bunch of plugs and a good air compressor. Both flats were cut sidewalls. Far away from home. Had to stop many times to add more plugs. First time I managed to make it home. Second time I made it to a location to pick up our machine. Wish I had carried a spare both times. I will now carry a spare when I feel it's necessary. Maybe every ride. I've also seen rocks get wedged between the rim and the brake caliper and punch a hole in the wheel. Sometimes it's more convenient to just swap out a flat tire and enjoy the rest of your ride worry free.

I've never heard of them. Any personal experience with them? My experience with sidewall cuts is that they continue to get worse/bigger. I had to continue to add plugs each time I had to stop to put more air in. The other downside to having to stop was that the mosquitos were so terrible that you could hardly breathe without inhaling them. If you've ever spent time in the U.P. of Michigan, you might understand .
Anyway, we have an xp model, so I'm going to build my own simple spare tire carrier that will put the tire laying down flat just above the box, leaving the box open for my gear.

I carry the glue tread kit. It has sidewall patches, plugs, valve stems and all to repair a tire minus the air to fill it. I’ve used sidewall patch on my stock pro armors and still holding after 100+ miles. I keep a spare with my trailer just in case
