Anybody here running the SATV long travel kit? I ordered it during Cyber Monday and am waiting on shipment. Also gotta go to Colorado and get the Xpedition so I can install it here.

If you have it, give us a review.

Thanks

Saw one being installed today. Pretty nice kit actually. Knowing that SATV built it you know they’ll have stuff in stock as well as it will accept all of their ball joints and comes with their rhino axles.

Got mine installed. Very happy with the instillation of the kit. Put Valor wheels with Valor Alfa 35" tires. Looks good. My son will take it to Moab tomorrow and will let me know what I need to do for clutching. Looks great

Looking good. I am curious about the quality and how long they’ll lasts. I had SATV High Clearance A-arms on my General and a couple of the welds broke. I will give it to SATV, they warrantied them without question. But the fact they broke in the first place was annoying.

I had a set of heavy duty high clearance a arms on my 2018 XPT and had no issues but I was disappointed to see made in China on the boxes. I thought their products were made in the US

The majority of what SATV, Assault, Etc. sell is manufactured in china. There are some brands they’ve acquired that they’re keeping USA made like HCR, but in general, if it’s less expensive than other brands and items in the same category, it’s most likely going to be Chinese manufactured.
If you want USA manufactured, you’ve got to be willing to pay the extra expense. The raw costs of manufacturing anything in the US is higher than almost any other country.

Also, made in china doesn’t always mean low quality. It’s whatever quality the Brand requires and is willing to pay for.

Whats your overall width and height now?

I have SATV arms on my 15 Ranger. No issues other than hard to get grease into the fittings. Had them on my 17 General as well. It mainly spent its life in Colorado on the rocky trails without issue.

You sometimes have to modify stuff to make it fit and sometimes the instructions aren't the best but for the money SATV is the best option. I also haven't read any reports of the axles falling out like on the other brands of mid and long travel kits

77" wide and 16" ride height. My shock valve caps with Schrader valves came in today so hopefully in the next few days i can get them installed and set nitrogen to OEM specs. then I'll adjust ride height

Stock springs? I have a kit on order for a buddy. Wondering what spring kit peeps are using. I have Schmitty on mine with the HCR kit
