I'm looking for someone who has installed the HMF Rock Sliders. Can you tell me if they wrap around under the machine or not? We had the Side By Customs rock sliders on our General and they wrapped under the machine 2". We loved them and would get the same brand but they don't make them for an Xpedition. Looking for something similar. If you have them, would love to see some pictures. Can't find many installed pictures online. Thanks!

Looking at the pictures on HMF’s website it appears they do go underneath a couple inches.
If you’re looking for some that are seriously heavy duty, I have the Polaris low profile rock sliders on my Xpedition. They go underneath and protect the side skidplate bolts and also wrap around the front and rear. I’ve landed them HARD on rocks multiple times and the only damage is scraped off powdercoat.

They also have access holes for the skidplate bolts so you don’t need to remove the sliders to remove the skidplate.

I installed the 5 seat HMF sliders about two months ago. I'm pleased with them, but they do not provide much of a lip going under the machine. I'd say maybe 1 inch in front, and 1/2 in the rear. They also do not go under the skid plate, but basically bolt right on without skid plate removal. I will say I had a couple issues and would like to warn anyone when installing these. #1: When you drill your holes in the designated plastic cutouts, be careful. I had an electrical cord on the passenger rear hole cutout that would have been severed with my hole saw if I were not careful. Why Polaris routed the cord over where I was supposed to drill the hole, I have no idea. I had to loosen a couple skid plate bolts and push the cable out of the way. #2: As you can see the rear of the sliders stick out a bit more than the front of them due to the inward taper of the rear body pan that you can see by the rear doors. IE; the front of the machines body pan by the front doors is actually wider than at the rear doors. HMFs hardware kit came with the same size bolts. I think they erred on this....the rear bolts needed to be about one inch longer so the sliders mounted up properly. -Hope you don't have to go to Ace Hardware for longer bolts like I did. #3: Small gripe....wish they would have the bolts and washers painted black. I painted the bolt head black, but will have to do the washers too. Small annoyance. Anyway, here are some pics so you understand how they fit.

I have the Polaris low profile rock sliders and SATV skid plate. Had to modify the rocker panels on the Xpedition to make them fit but well pleased with the protection. I drilled and tapped all of the skidplate mounting holes and used anti seize on the bolts. Easy to remove a piece of the skid plate to access the oil filter
