We ride in the snow a lot and when under heavy load at full throttle I get a check engine light and lose power but once I lift off of the throttle the light goes off and no more loss of power. I don’t have any codes in the diagnostics and do not get the brake accelerator message on the ride command but went ahead and swapped the brake sensor anyway. Still have the same issue. I purposely pushed the brake and throttle together to see what happens. Same loss of power but do get the error message on the ride command. Anyone have this issue that’s not related to the brake sensor?

Without any code, it’s hard to say. Could be a dirty air filter.
Could be a bad belt (a belt with chunks out of it or burned spots can register as an engine misfire and derate the motor)
Could be bad fuel or plugged fuel filter.
🤷‍♂️
Hmmm. New belt and filter. Maybe another bad sensor?

It’s always possible, especially if you just replaced it with another Polaris brake sensor. Though with it showing the “release brake” thing when you deliberately tried that, but not when you weren’t, I wouldn’t think so. You could always try a different brand brake sensor.

I ordered another sensor non Polaris part. I’ll try and see what happens. Doubt that’s the issue tho. Also gonna call Gilomen. I have their ecu but it was doing it before I installed it.
