Anyone add aftermarket seats? My wife is short and the stock seats start to be very uncomfortable for her after a few hours. I put in a riser in my Northstar Ranger and that helped. I don't see a lot of options for seats for the Xpedition yet. Was hoping to put in a Simpson suspension seat setup...
That is my plan exactly! I have done that exact tire setup. Need to sell my Northstar Ranger and then I will do the Aftermarket Assassin's kit. I was on the fence about the Dynamat. for $200 maybe I just do it. Thank you very much for your input. Nice to hear that somebody executed my plan and...
That’s a nice setup. I’ve been saved by tire slugs and a mini compressor before. Your setup doesn’t potentially leave you on an unplanned hike. I like it. Where did you get the tools set?
I agree and wouldn't be surprised to see a Xpedition 1500 next year. I'm going to drop another pile of $$ and get the clutch kit and bring that noise level down a bit.
Picked up ours on Thursday. Same problem with the locks as everyone else. The key itself seems a little weak as well. My Ranger Northstar has a more robust key for the doors. I'm thinking aftermarket power door locks. Anybody done that?
Just bought our new Xpedition yesterday. First ride last night and what an amazing machine! Can't wait to take this on some amazing trips. We live in Utah and have a lot of plans for this summer. Next up is the Alpine Loop in southern Colorado.
I just bought mine. I was seriously looking at the Ranger 1500 and the ADV. The huge difference between the 2 was the sound and about. $5,000. The new transmission and the motor in the 1500 are simply amazing. Untimely I chose the ADV because it was the first year of production on the 1500 and...
I just did 32's on the stock suspension. BFG KM3's. Anything is possible if you throw enough $ at it but I don't think you're getting that setup without some mods to the suspension and Wheel offsets. Then you get to spend a little $ on power upgrades. That would be one bad ass machine.
