That’s what I was thinking. Dealer seems to think it is normal. When it was delivered it was missing a Bolt on the steering column. I am wondering what else they left off at factory.
I have a XP Norhstar 2 door. The steering is very heavy and feels like there is little power assist. Drove my bosses XP 5 Norhtstar and it was very easy and smooth to turn. Felt alot lighter in the front end. Has anybody else expereienced this with their 2 seat?
I also checked the distance between front wheels on front and back of inside the rims and they were the same. My question is why are these coming out of the factory this way? The lack of quality checks is concerning.
I have had one on order since last September. Found out yesterday they have a design flaw and are not making them anymore. Rumor is they will redesign and will be able to order in June or July of this year.
Buy it. I have owned mine for 6 months and have 110 miles on it and has been in four wheel drive once. I have already replaced a leaking shock and is currently at the dealer for a leaking oil pan. Also everybody needs to make sure their main electrical harness is not rubbing on the driveline...
Don’t do any of these. Mine was off as well. There are several options that basically align the steering. Hold the steering wheel straight and firm. Set up two jacks stands front to back and a string line between them. Measure and adjust jack stands from each side of rear wheel rim the same...
