Fantastic idea, got mine installed today and that whiny noise coming from the passenger seat next to me suddenly stopped! Lol

I also had mine back at the dealer for oil leak. Dealer indicated pan did not receive an adequate amount of sealant at factory, no pan replacement necessary. Engine does require being pulled so engine can be "tilted" to remove pan!

I gave this a lot of thought and received input from my wife who is only 5' 3". In the event of a roll over or being pinned in the front seats, we wanted all the occupants to have easy access in the event of a fire. This application is what we came up with and worked best for us.

While I don't have an awning, this may give you some idea of a additional tent space if your planning serious expedition rides. A place where the wife can use the toilet and the dogs can sleep at night!

Ok, I have the gun rack installed, fire extinguisher, and remote battery terminals... With the additional head room in these units none of the items come close to compromising head space of passengers!
