    Expedition ADV Northstar Noise Issue

I'm not with the machine currently but if my memory is working about 4000 rpm. It's not crazy, it's beautiful. Quiet and plenty of power.

Can of Worms... Insulation and Sound Deadening

I added reflectix between the headliner and the roof. Here in Arizona it makes a difference with the heat. Your best bet with reducing the noise in the cab is a clutch kit to reduce rpms. I installed the Gillomen Innovations kit and the noise reduction is so good I'm getting rid of my Cardo...

    Expedition ADV Northstar Noise Issue

I installed the Gillomen Innovations clutch kit on my ADV 2 Northstar and reduced the rpm 1500-2000 rpm across the board. With added insulation the noise reduction is amazing. I am really happy with this machine now. I had purchased a set of rugged radio headsets which I no longer need. I don't...

    Loud and have few options?

I did not. The factory kit was just coming out when I got my kit. I just bit the bullet and installed it myself vs transporting it to the dealer, dropping it off, waiting for the install, and then transporting it back home and checking their work.

    Loud and have few options?

I installed the Gillomen clutch kit on my ADV 2 Northstar. The difference is night and day. 1000 to 1500 rpm reduction across the board. I first did the sound deadening and that help a little. If I did the clutch kit first I wouldn't need any sound deadening.

    Ride Command issues

Pretty sure your auto volume control setting is your issue. I think the default setting is low.

    Damn! #2

I would take the shield off, prep it, get a can of spray paint and be done with it. Can of paint is less cost than driving to the dealership, twice.

    Polaris clutch kit

Might be a trade off of some power loss and longer to attain top speed. I have not installed mine yet but I'll gladly accept the trade off.

    Polaris clutch kit

Would be interesting to see how this kit compares to the Gilomen clutch kit.

Shifter Boot Alternatives - Air Leak, Cool air Winter, Hot air Summer, Dust in cabin

I purchased this boot from Amazon and it arrived today. It's going to fit perfect with double sided tape at the bottom. It will cover PRNLH to the right of the shifter but no big deal as it can be read from the dash. It'll be an easy install and should make a big difference in the air coming...

Same boat here. Mine is leaking from the corner of the pan.

Door locks, I feel stupid, what am I missing?

If it's like mine the key locks are difficult to engage. You have to force the key where the first few times you think it is going to break off in the lock. Mine seemed to have loosened up now.

    Quieting them down.

Another leaking oil pan. So far mine is good. 🤞
