Thanks for the information. I am from Minnesota so noticed the same thing in the cold. Was concerned about starting when ice fishing. Thinking I will also go to 87 octane in the winter months.
Got the two inch seat riser from 802 off-road like others stated. Very fast service. Like the extra height a lot. Can see the fender flares better so don’t have any excuses if I damage them. Was a good company to deal with.
Was waiting for aftermarket flares also but didn’t see any and didn’t want to wait any longer so got the factory ones. Easy to install. Used the bed mat also for floor mats.
The fender flares stick out 4” from the sides but only 2” from the outside of the tires. Keeps the mud from the lower door panels to keep mud of when climbing out. The rear mat is from a rear truck bed mat. Had to score the part that goes behind the seat so it would lay flat.
Installed the fender flares and they seem to do the job. Lot less mud on sides. Was wondering if anyone had the seat risers? Was thinking about getting something so can see the front better now that I have the fender flares on and it is a few inches wider. Thanks. Also used a rear truck bed...
Got mine back. According to there papers supposed to return to owner. Wanted mine back in case sell someday and they might want to change back. Kinda depends on people’s riding use
Results from before and after Polaris clutch kit installed. In low range at 15 mph the rpm was 5500. After kit installed at same speed rpm was 5000. In high range at 40 mph the rpm was 6200 rpm, after kit installed it was 5700 rpm. At 50mph it was 7200 rpm and after kit 6200. It was 20 degrees...
No charge for it or for the installation. There is another post on here also that I originally seen and it posted the service advisory. I couldn’t find the other post but thanks for posting. I took a picture of that post and went to dealer to order.
Went to dealer and the clutch kit is available through Polaris. They call it a comfort kit XSA-24-01. If you want this you need to request it at your dealer. It is considered a service advisory. Ordered mine. Will reply with review after dealer install.
Just checked mine. The temp out of the grills was 105 with the engine temperature 180. Checked the two hoses and they were about 10 deg different. The larg hose was about 100 degrees and the smaller 90 deg. Outside temp in the 20,s and not moving.
Considering getting the Gilman clutch kit that I have heard about on this forum to possibly quit down my adv2. Can’t find any installation directions and wondering how difficult it is to install? Only trail ride and road usage at slower speeds 30-40. Thanks
Noticed that as long as the trickle charge battery maintainer isn’t plugged in it seems to work okay. If the charger is plugged in keep getting multiple updates
Getting updates on email from ride command + several times a day without it being on or going anywhere. Just setting in garage. Wondering if this is normal. Thanks
