I haven't run it much at all at night, plus I use the yellow lights mostly. However, I originally had it mounted on the bar using black hose clamps, but when I bought the yellow lights I moved it to where it is now.
What I did was a combination of a small light bar with remote capability mounted in the push bar and the yellow 5" power lights. The small light bar is very bright and the round lights are REALLY bright. Works out very nicely as I can turn on the light bar outside of the vehicle at the camp...

I was able to reduce the noise level to a "livable level" by insulating all areas in rear with car sound proofing material bought on Amazon, less than $100. In fact, I put multiple layers on, and also put a 1/2" sound barrier on firewall. There are several posts on sound proofing on this forum...

Sorry don't have an ADV5 so can't help with the window issue. However, on the wiring you might consider running the lites off a pig tail plugged into the rear tail lites. Worked for me, since they have a remote controller to manage the lights.
