I have for sale a brand new Gilomen quiet clutch kit. Never installed and in its original packaging. I paid $180, I'm asking $140 with shipping included in the US. I had an XP5 on the way but I decided that an XD 1500 would better fit my needs.
I don't think so. Most tunes change Rev limiters, etc to gain performance through rpm. Quiet clutch kits are meant to hold rpm down. When I talked to Gilomens they told me there really wouldn't be a point to the tune.
I should get my XP5 next week. I already have the Gilomen clutch kit in my garage. I drove my dealers personal machine, an XP2, both before and after he put the Gilomen kit in. If I hadn't drove it after the kit, I doubt I would have bought one.
I ordered an xp5 on November 9th. My order tracker just said order confirmed until yesterday (Thanksgiving). I got two updates and went from confirmed to scheduled to built. I don't know how reliable the order tracker is but things are happening faster than expected which is great!
I just put in an order with my dealer the other day for a XP5 Northstar. I currently run a '21 Ranger Northstar Premium. I took a test drive in a 2 seater a few days ago and got hooked. I'm really looking forward to this machine. I trail ride as often as I can, the Black Hills of South Dakota...
