While it may seem you’re running it too high, you’re not. These are the same motors that are in the ‘24 RZR Pro XP. They are perfectly fine to run up to around 9000 rpm and the stock tune won’t let it over 8200-8300.
You can lower the rpm with a clutch kit, but in doing so you’ll drop it out...
There was one with a cap but hanging loose on the driver side that had the power from the switch. I didn’t see any uncapped on mine. Also I just bought the Y cable from Polaris to connect the 2 lights. I bought a pair of gp10s from GG Lighting for my driving lights. They don’t fit completely...
I wasn’t able to find anyone with the rockers for the smaller blade switches. Had to buy the $65 one from Polaris for my auxiliary lights that are pre-wired. I spent quite a lot of time searching the interwebs for one but couldn’t find any 🫤
Are you going to have windshield protection film? I’m more concerned about chipping/ cracking a $1400 windshield than darkening it, though having some uv blocking would be nice too.
There’s a ton of space under the dash on the Ultimates where the fan and ducting would go.
With Rugged Radios new 696 Rocker the com unit can be mounted anywhere under the dash and the controller just uses a switch spot.
Possible options for a radio mounting spot would be to cut out the...
Same. Mine had been working fine until I went to UTV Takeover. Started it the first morning and it just showed the last area I’d ridden and the compass part had the spinner saying “locating”
I had an issue for several days with the navigation on my Ride Command. All other functions of the ride command worked properly, just nothing in navigation. It couldn’t find satellites and even the V2V wouldn’t connect.
I tried multiple resets on the unit and unplugged and plugged back in the...
The things I like about Ryco is having the hazards and horn integrated into the turn signal switch and the brake light strobing feature. The taillight hookups were over complicated because they tried making a universal Polaris wiring kit. WD’s kit was definitely simpler.
I used the Ryco kit on...
Sure hope Seizmik is working on mirrors for these. I’ve already broken my driver side mirror twice. My brother broke his passenger side mirror and bought a new set so I was able to use the other one the first time. Second time I had to buy another set. It’s ridiculous to have to pay $200 for a...
A little better room in the Xpedition but non-removable seats… at least not easily.
I definitely know the “SQUIRREL!” Problem 😂 Currently it was Trail Hero and now UTV Takeover.
My personal opinion, Trailers are the way to go for extended camping. Less stuff packed in the machine, easier to...
Again… looks sharp! 😂😊
I like the roof light bar for having a beam over eye level. Makes visibility better going through dips and such. For the round style, there’s the one from KC Lights my Brother had on his old General.
Here’s my latest MPG update.
Just crossed over 500 miles a couple days ago. On my previous fill up i didn’t reset the trip odometer, but I’ve kept record of how many gallons on each fill.
Previous fill up was 6.75 gallons and then today put in 7.81 gallons for a total of 14.56 gallons. Trip...
Probably on the metal crossbar under the back wall of the cab on the passenger side. Looks like it should be accessible even on the Northstars and away from the exhaust. A couple nutserts into the tube so I don’t have to drill through into the cab to bolt it on should work.
Evidently I should spend a little more time researching before posting 😂
So here’s changing this post to one for anyone looking for a relocation kit.

While this is for the General, it can work for the...
If anyone knows or is an Aftermarket Manufacturer, this isn’t an issue specific to the Xpedition but all Polaris machines except the Pro R… and possibly other brands, but the oil filter is quite difficult to access on non-A/C machines and far worse on the Northstars.
I would think that making...
Looks awesome! I’m not particularly a fan of half-height racks but that looks a lot better than what Polaris offers. Originally I was waiting for an RBO rack but with the bigger bed on the Xpedition I can put everything in the bed that I used the rack for on my old General.
That sounds like the equivalent of your dentist telling you to eat more chewy candy… more work and sales for them. 😂
A clutch kit is worthwhile running just stock tires but even more important if you’re going to a bigger size. The heavier springs in the kit improve belt grip, improving belt...
I got to see the 1500 Ranger up close at Trail Hero and damn! That’s a big machine!
Motor sounds pretty cool but it was just idling around so didn’t hear it at full rev. There was definitely more noise from the transmission. Sort of a low whine. Still definitely quieter than an Xpedition at the...
It should. If yours isn’t auto stopping you should check the plugs and make sure it’s plugged in at both ends. It’s a standard feature on the Xpeditions
I’ve never seen or been in the situation that’d require the bigger winch. The Xpedition loaded completely out won’t ever hit even 4000# so I’m fine with the stock winch.
I primarily did poly-fil between the floor and skid plate for engine heat getting into the cab, but it also helped the noise a lot. It was around 96 db in the cab stock on an ultimate. After doing the insulation it peaks at 86 db and 63 db at an idle.
I’m sure several manufacturers will have them available soon for the Xpedition but the standard ones from Milwaukee will be around half the cost. Only pro to a cnc Packout plate would be using factory mounting points.
On my machine, I’m running 30” BF Goodrich KM3s on raceline beadlocks. On my brothers, he’s running Maxxis 32” (can’t remember the series) on Method 414 Beadgrip wheels.
This is mine with the stock 4500# winch.
you don’t need to remove the winch at all to install the HD bumper. Just move a couple wire clips. The HD bumper comes with 2 different cover plates to cover whichever winch spot doesn’t get used.
If you do go with the 6000# high mount winch you have to...
It’s a deutsch connector for the light end. Fairly common and easy to get. There is a little difference depending on wire gauge that you have to be aware of. For instance the connector on the 50” rigid light bar had a little wider spacing on the pins than the 15 amp harness had. That’s why there...
One thing worth noting, for those who don’t already know, on the XP you have to tilt the bed up and remove the bed Lift ram in order to change the belt. It goes from the bed to the bottom frame directly in front of the belt cover.
The ADV won’t have this issue but you also won’t have as much...
You could get the fold down seat backs from an ADV and install in the XP… it’d just be somewhat pointless. The XP 5 rear seat backs mount the same as the ADV, they just have bolt on hardware in the place of the latches.
