Mine were 2 pin but single function. I believe the gg sidewinders are dual function. White and amber. GG does full wiring though so your lights should come complete with wiring harness, relay and switch
Congratulations!
As far as I’ve heard the XPs haven’t been plagued with the delays the ADVs have so it shouldn’t be long now. There are some delays still on accessories so depending on what of those you ordered it with, it may take a little longer to. But all the accessories are done at the...
Here’s my latest MPG update:
The past several trips I was filling out of gas cans so I couldn’t get a mpg calculation until I topped it off at a gas station today. I kept track of exactly how much in each can and I am still keeping record of how much I put in every time.
The results are...
As it happens…
My brother has a 6 seat Ranger Northstar that is turboed and with long travel suspension 😂 (which is up for sale)
While those are a drastic improvement over the stock Ranger, there’s absolutely no comparison to the Xpedition for ride quality. Power wise, it might be a little more...
I have the XP5 Ultimate and the stereo will go more than loud enough to overcome both the noise of the machine running flat out at 8700 rpm and my com headphones at volume level 7-8.
Rangers always were quieter as they’re intended for farm and hunting work. The Xpeditions are a little more...
The problem with this is when they made a clutch to be quieter on the Generals, they did so by putting smaller, rubber backed buttons in the clutch. In doing so they decreased the life of the clutch and we’ve never successfully rebuilt a general clutch once the buttons wore out. It’d eat the new...
This is all the switch had on it. I don’t have the invoice anymore to see what Polaris part #
Other than the fact that it’s really expensive and proprietary for Polaris, the switch is good and matches the factory switches.
There were 2 of the green. Both Northstars. And then mine and my brothers gray Ultimates.
Honestly, the pictures online of the green doesn’t do them justice. They’re really good looking in person.
HCR used my brothers Xpedition for fitment because theirs hadn’t come in by the time they were ready. I am just going off what he’s told me so I could be wrong 😂
But since he’s dealing directly with HCR, I trust it.
72” will be the overall width if you run factory offset wheels. HCR said they’re pretty much keeping factory shock geometry. And as for tie rods, the stock ones are pretty weak as is. Although I’m not doing a long travel kit i am replacing those with a set from Kryptonite.
In all my fiddling around under the dash I haven’t seen anything for that. All connections for brake lights I’ve seen are at the rear of the machine and samsbackuplights.com has a kit for reverse lights that uses the diagnostic connector for the reverse signal.
Welcome to the forum.
For what my 2 bits are worth, I came from a General 4 to the Xpedition and with 958 miles so far on it, I’m still blown away by how comfortable and smooth riding the Xpedition is compared to the General. And that’s even considering I had $6k into the suspension on the...
One of my friends just got his XP5 Northstar and said was dripping a little oil. I checked it out for him and found the oil filter was a little loose. About a half turn by hand and no more leaking.
I think they removed a bunch of instructions… I just looked at one accessory that I’d previously used the instructions on and they’re no longer available. 😤
I haven’t pulled the front of the dash apart but this parts breakdown might give you an idea what screws you might be missing.

If you accidentally break the glue holding the wedges of the nut together, you can position the split vertically to make it easier to get into the tube.
Had that happen on one of mine.
Yeah they’re still missing some stuff.
Those Rock sliders are fairly straightforward install. On a 2 seater, along the bottom there will be 2 circle indents in the plastic about 1.5” diameter. Cut those out with a hole saw. Stick the bolts through the outside of the slider and the split nuts...
That’s definitely worth noting but that would also be setting the preload beyond the advertised ground clearance. Every new Xpedition that I’ve seen has come from the factory riding 1.5”-2” low.
Things like Super ATVs “lift kit”, which is just a coil spring spacer, could push the shocks beyond...
We ran the preloads down about 2” on both mine and my brother’s to get it to the advertised ground clearance. The preload is just for ride height and doesn’t affect ride quality. It’s best to set it once you’re loaded up how you’ll normally ride.
There will also be some spring sag after...
System 3 has their SB6 And SB7 series with the standard offset for Xpeditions,
Method has their 407 and 412 series that are only 6” wide but maintain the standard offset.
Tusk has their Uinta and Tintic series
ITP has their Hurricane series.
That’s what I’ve been able to find so far.
Which items are you looking for instructions on? I found instructions for the more complicated accessories like the canvas uppers for the doors, but there were some that, like you said, don’t have instructions. A lot of accessories will reuse particular areas of them and can also be found from...
I used adapters on mine to adapt from the new 5x4.5 to the old 4x156mm that my Polaris General had so I could use the set of Raceline beadlock wheels I already had. The adapters I used are only 1” thick, but between those and the 4/3 offset on the wheels my Xpedition is now 72” overall width.
