Sorry I’m late to the thread but I had this issue on mine as well and have seen it on several other Xpeditions. The fix is really simple, just run the latest update, even if your Ride Command is already on it. It has fixed this particular problem every time.

I had them on my General too and really liked them. But they had a mount that looked clean. On the Xpedition you’d currently have to use the cab tube mount, which would put them a little high or come up with another mount solution. Hopefully Seizmik is working on something clean.

The tires say 32 x 10.00R15 but they measure 30” actual with a little bit of a squish from machine weight. They are taller than the stock tires by around an inch. There is still a good 4.5” clearance to the firewall so I wouldn’t doubt that 35s would fit.

Welcome! Honestly, these machines are such a massive upgrade from the General that the price difference doesn’t feel as bad as at first glance. I definitely have no regrets over it.

Glad it’s working. I’m half tempted to just remove the bed ram entirely. Other than oil changes, I don’t really need to dump the bed. And then there’d be no reason to raise the bed for belt/clutch work.

The XP 5s have just 2 bolts at the top on each side and they’re hinged on the bottom. They just fold down once you remove those bolts.

Mine were 2 pin but single function. I believe the gg sidewinders are dual function. White and amber. GG does full wiring though so your lights should come complete with wiring harness, relay and switch
