    That box is pretty nice, I did something similar only using 3 ammo boxes and made an aluminum frame to keep them in place.

    UP Michigan Trip

    Just got back from a great trip backpacking thru the western UP of Michigan on our ADV5. Put on 570 miles on in 7 days of riding. The ADV was everything I hoped for and handled better than I expected for being loaded with gear etc.

    Front vs Rear tire size on Stock Northstar

    Yes. The 6-1 offset on Sedona Sano beadlock wheels. Don’t know how many turns but cranked them down like an 1 1/2”.

    I’m running 33” System 3’s (XCR 350) with no rubbing but did have the springs cranked down some.

    Here is a little storage idea I came up with. Ammo Boxes fit rather nicely under the rear seat.

    Tie down points

    I use wheel bonnets and loose safety chains front and back. I don’t like to tie it down against the suspension.

    Roof Front Vibrates on Trailer

    Here’s what I did, just drilled down through the roof into the sheet metal above the windshield. Made a couple bushings and ran a bolt thru it. Way solid now, just gotta paint bolts and washers.

    I added grab handle above the door, drilled holes and put in a couple rivnuts

    New Xpedition owner from Iowa

    Traded in my General 4 to a ADV5, we are from Iowa but love the UP of Michigan in the summer and winter. We recently retired and ready to do some Xploring with our new rig when we’re not hitting a rock concert.
