Shout out to High Desert Unlimited

For all of you out there complaining about the Polaris comfort clutch, the inside cab noise, and lack of power, there is an awesome upgrade. Just reach out to JT Barlow on this website for more details. I had my Xpedition up there (Mesquite Nv.) for 1 week, and the work they did on my rig was an amazing difference. They have an upgrade called the "High Desert Package" which includes clutch, and tune from AA Assassins, sound deadening, poly fill all of the voids under the skid plate and added heat shield to affected areas. The sound deadening and poly fill alone dropped the sound level by 8-9 dBs, which is huge and is definitely noticeable. They also take the shocks off and add a schrader valve to all 4 shocks so you can check nitrogen pressure, and they set the correct ride height. Basically, what this upgrade does is wakes up the power of this motor and at the same time quiets it down quite a bit. I couldn't be any happier with the total results of this upgrade. I didn’t take pictures of insulation work, since it’s the same as I’ve previously posted, but here’s some of the sound dampening work. I’ve been improving that with each Xpedition we’ve done.


We also sealed off the gaps around the seat belt rear seat mounts that let dust and hot air into the cab.

And here’s the decibel readings at an idle and at 8600 rpm after doing all the insulation and sound dampening.
