Would you buy it again?

I love mine and I would buy all over again. There are times that I think I should have got the ADV 5, but I like the nimbleness of the 2 seater. It is truly everything we need to go hit the trails. Our dogs love to take buggy rides. We did a benefit ride this weekend and it was nice when it was dusty to roll the windows up and turn on the AC.

My 2 cents, yes, without hesitation I would buy another Northsatr. Very happy with ours., it fills a specif need for us when we want to casually trail ride even in the heat here in Az (love the A/C).

However, I do not like how it preforms in soft sand, very heavy vehicle. That is why we also have a Can Am Turbo RR, so when we want to fly like a rocket, that is the rig we take.

Best of both worlds.
That is very true, they are HORRIBLE in the soft sand !! But that is a very expensive fix !!!! lol :)

I’ve not found sand to be a problem at all in my XP5. I just air the tires down to 8 psi and run it. I’ve pulled our camp trailers all over Sand Hollow in the dry sand, towed a Ranger that was struggling, up the big sand hill out of the Tunnel there, ripped all over around Coral Pink Sand dunes and this weekend we’re headed up to Little Sahara in Utah for the second time with my Xpedition.

While there’s no comparison to a turbo car with paddles, the Xpedition does just fine in the sand. I won’t be going up the face of Sand Mountain, but I will get to the top.

The only reasons it might struggle is too high of tire pressure, too hard/stiff rubber in the tires. And the Polaris “Comfort Clutch” and other Cruiser clutch setups that reduce performance.

Yes, if you know your going to the sand dunes that works great, but I'm talking about normal trail riding and find a sandy spot your not gonna air down for that, then air back up when the trail turns back to hard pack !! Just sayin you REALLY feel the weight of the car, thats all. :)

Like they’ve mentioned above, no matter what machine you go with, there’s issues. I’ve had my share with my rig. However, if I were in the market looking and knowing what I know now, there would be absolutely no other choice for me. Xpedition is truly a rig in its own class. Nothing comes close to it and I’d buy 2 before I even considered a jeep. There is not a jeep that can match the performance of these (my opinion).
I completely agree with you about the jeeps. I go to Moab quite a bit and if bunch of jeeps gets ahead of you. You might as well go find another Trail because they are s.l.o.w.

100% agreed. They are a very heavy SxS and you definitely feel it in the sand.

I guess my point is, if we’re comparing the Xpedition to anything around its class of SxS, like Ranger, Defender, General, Commander, Rmax etc… the Xpedition outclasses all of them in every type of terrain.

I can only speak to the comparisons vs a Ranger as I’ve owned 2 rangers. The xpedition is all around better. I’ve had better performance from the motor, all the way down to the hvac. I have zero regrets with this machine.

I'm looking for a grab handle for the front door to help my wife to get in. Something above the door inside or on the A pillar. Any suggestions?

What I did was a combination of a small light bar with remote capability mounted in the push bar and the yellow 5" power lights. The small light bar is very bright and the round lights are REALLY bright. Works out very nicely as I can turn on the light bar outside of the vehicle at the camp site with the remote.

Not a fix racer, We bought the Turbo RR first a year before the expedition !

I've had my ADV in powder sand in Northen Mi and it rocks. It is a beast and the wife loves it too. No dust is, as stated previously, is a game changer. I've had issues with door locks and AC but solved and now all good. I would DEFINITELY BUY IT AGAIN. Also bought it from a dealer who gave me a price under MSRP! Enough to get the extended warranty covered. I have added just about everything from DRT and love it.

I have a couple friend that have rzrs and decided to buy some Broncos. They took them to Colorado and said they hated how slow you had to drive compared to their RZRs and the Bronco has IFS
