Fuel storage for Adv Northstar

How are folks carrying extra fuel in their ADV 5 Northstars? I bought a Rotopax and the mount. The only option I see to mount is drilling holes in the Rhino roof rack. Does anyone have a different solution?

This was my solution. Don’t really like carrying fuel but I figured the tire and box will protect it in case of trees hitting them or rollover.

You do not have to drill into the Rhino rack. I just used the Rhino-Rack Hardware Fit Kit for Rotopax, from Amazon. Then mounted it using just two of the holes in the Rotopax mount. It doesn’t sit square but it works great for my configuration. You can buy a roof rack mounting plate that spans two of the Rhino rack bars if you want it to sit square
