I noticed since I picked up my new machine last week. Upgrade from general. I had the rear storage box with the pegs in the general. Saw a similar box but now it is not online from Polaris. Wondering if a new release is going to be made or do I need to fabrication my own. Seems kind of ridiculous after $38k and can’t get a storage box for the new track system. Looking to put a cooler in it along with clothes. Let me know your thoughts.

A lot of people are going with Milwaukee Packout coolers and boxes, myself included.
Several companies make Packout mounts for the Xpedition and the Packout system is very versatile with a ton of different box sizes and the coolers work quite well.

I have had one on order since last September. Found out yesterday they have a design flaw and are not making them anymore. Rumor is they will redesign and will be able to order in June or July of this year.

I have done some research in the pack put bases plate. Has anyone found a bases plate that would work with the rear floor kit in the box. I would like to be able to remove quickly if I want to haul dirt or other debris. Any ideas?

I heard a few days ago that polaris had to change manufacturers. I ordered the box also. They told me June that I should get mine.

I bought box at HomeDepot and fabricated a holder out of aluminum to keep it set in place. Put lock on it and works great for all my tools and other stuff. It is water proof as well. I think it cost me $50. Used the 4 screws in the bed to hold it in place. Nice alternative until something else comes out. I just didn't want to wait so needed something to hold tire repair and jack plus other tools.

I bought a packout plate from AJK Off-road and I really like it. The XL tote and XL cooler fit side by side. You just pull out 3 bolts that are already in the bed and use them to mount the plate. So it’s really easy to jerk out if you need to. It’s so nice not having to worry about strapping anything down

I bolted two packout mounts directly through the floor. If I need to carry firewood, dirt etc I have a piece of plywood cut to lay in the bed.

Rigid boxes from Home Depot lock together, Craftsman box holds a Scuba tank with 3500lbs of air pressure. Only one strap to hold in all in, looking for Unistrut fittings for more goodies.

I went Dewalt, waiting on one more box and base plate. I ordered the base plates from a site called Stack Smarter. They make them for all the brands.
