First 200 miles

I really can't complain too much. The XPEDITION is a very good improvement over my RANGER. Suspension is great. Handles the deep ruts very well. Not as tippy. I upgraded my ranger suspension with Z BROZ shocks and 2 inch forward A Arms. This is still an improvement. The cab is tight. Almost no dust. We have a lot of clay ground so yes. The roads and trails are dusty. The air conditioning got too cold. Outside temperature was 88 degrees. We do have the small cab. The seats are very comfortable and there is more leg room. I am 6' 2". I fit much better in this cab. The XPEDITION turned out much like I expected. My only complaint is the noise in the cab. The air intakes are in the back cab pillars right by your ears. I'm guessing much of the noise is coming from those. I am going to tinker with that tomorrow. It's always fun to play with new toys. Overall I am very pleased. Great machine for my style of riding.

I have to agree. The new Xpedition is night and day over the Ranger. So smooth. I put a horse stall rubber mat from Tractor Supply in the back over the existing floor panel and it seemed to help with the noise. It's still bad over 25 miles an hour.

Congrats on taking delivery and thank you for sharing your first impressions after having some time behind the wheel. I'm thinking the two-seat models notice the engine/intake noise much more than the longer four-seaters because as you pointed out, the air intake is right there by your head. Whereas, in the four-seaters, it would be several feet away from the driver. Surely, there's some sort of solution that will come out to help reroute this intake and reduce the cabin noise.
