Ok so I have installed heaters, street legal kits, light bars, etc on a General and 2 Rangers, BUT I cannot get my dash off for the installation of turn signal kit..... watched ONLY video I could find and read the directions 3 or 4 times.....removed every fastener I could find and I still cant get the dash removed..... ANY advice or vids on removing would be much appreciated!!

I followed these and got it off. In retrospect I wondered if I might have been able to do the install without totally removing but who knows. They said to remove so I did.

Make sure you get the 2 hidden fasteners on pg 2 - they were hard to get to

Thanks for the replys so far! Read directions 20 times and watched 2 vids I found 2 or 3 times.....Must have 50 different bolts/screws/clips on floorborards and have been stuck at removing dash for 2 or 3 days now.... seems I have to remove the bottom gas strut mount for front windshield but I just canNOT get a socket or wrench on the bolt...what IS the secret!! I have installed plenty of accessories and even rebuilt the front end of my old ranger after I creamed a tree at 40, and I cant figure this out! OH YEAH!! In the directions it states to not totally remove the little "retaining clips" on the bottom strut connection but just push down enough to remove or they can get lost......YEP!! They do get lost when they fly off the bottom of strut if pushed down to far!! wonder what the backorder time is on that clip!! Any hints on removing the lower strut mounts??
I will tell ya though that the 25 miles I do have on my ADV5 have been absolutely awesome!!

You have to take the clips completely off. Then a deep wall socket fits over the lower strut mount.
The best video out there is the WD electronics video

This is my holdup.....I cant get the triangle plastic inside cover that has the hole in it for the strut mount. I cant seem to get a deepwall socket, or ANY socket to get onto the mount....

Ok Thanks to everyone for theyre help!! This forum is going to be an AMAZING resource for all of us! A buddy came over to give me a hand (THANKS DAVID!) and removing the dash was MUCH easier having 2 people to manipulate and bend the dash to pull it out! ........ Got the front end done and wire ran to rear..... they left the tail light adapter plug setup out of the kit but I will call them today to get it sent. These are very tight machines!
